PzKpfw VI "Tiger" |
![]() |
Our replica PzKpfw VI Tiger tank is one of the ones used in the movie "Saving Private Ryan." This was the tank that was taken out during the famous “sticky bomb” scene. Built upon a WWII Russian T-34/85 chassis, she features a gas powered 88mm cannon and functioning gas MG-34T bowgun. Powered by her original 38L V-12 Diesel, she has a nasty growl, with nearly 500 HP on tap. Dimensionally, she is nearly identical to a real Tiger, and weighs nearly 33 tons. She has a crew of four. She is still in her original SPR paintwork, and due to the collector value associated with that, she will remain in these colors. Features include Zimmerit paste, Feifel air filtration system, smoke dischargers, spare track links on the turret, and early style road wheels. With only 4 complete original Tiger tanks in the world (and of those, only one is in running condition) this is the only way possible to get a vehicle of this magnitude into a reenactment unit. We look forward to bringing her to as many events in the future that time and conditions permit. |
